Role Overview 🚀
As our Platform Delivery department continues to grow we are expanding our PD Training team with a new role in Cebu to support the training needs of the department. This is a hands on role where you will deliver onboarding to new joiners, run training sessions and create/improve training material. You will work closely with the PD Training Manager to build out a world class training and development programme for PD.
Platform Delivery is our technical implementation team, they are a customer facing team responsible for gathering requirements, configuring our system, testing, go live and ongoing technical support. This requires a wide number of skills ranging across: technical (software implementation/development), project management, critical thinking, communication skills, organisation and more. These are all skills that you will be involved in improving as part of your role.
Responsibilities 🤘
- Coordinate and run training sessions for the Platform Delivery team.
- Work closely with the Platform Delivery Training Manager to assess training needs and develop a comprehensive training plan.
- Onboarding of new joiners
- Create training material and lead training sessions.
- Liaise with internal and external trainers to deliver training programs.
- Maintain and improve our Knowledgebase
- Support with documentation and process improvement within the team
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs.
- Maintain up-to-date records of training activities and employee progress.
- Assist in the development of online training modules and e-learning resources.
- Support the continuous improvement of training practices and procedures
What are we looking for? 🔎
- Proven experience in a training or learning and development role - confident assessing needs, creating training material/documentation and delivering training to new joiners and experienced team members
- Proven experience in creating and delivering technical training
- Good knowledge of software development processes, systems and tools
- Technically proficient - some knowledge of software programming, databases and testing (software development lifecycle)
- Effective communicator, presenter and a logical thinker.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience of researching outlining and writing documentation
- Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
- Familiarity with the latest training techniques and best practices
