Application Support Engineer
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be working as part of our cross functional Product Engineering Tribe, ensuring the delivery and operation of the full suite of our OneHub products. You will be directly contributing towards our ability to provide a robust, global, multi-tenanted OneHub Platform supporting a continuously evolving set of capabilities with zero downtime.
**Please note that the reason for hiring for this position is to provide 24/7 application support cover for our customers. We are hiring for 2 positions each with different shift patterns, we are looking for people who are flexible and happy working weekends and/or night shifts (12am-9am PH).
Responsibilities/Role Overview 🤘
- Handling simple “How do I…” application queries to investigating Single Sign On (SSO) integrations and more complex application problems.
- Work closely with the Engineering squad to help triage and ensure all defects meet the SLA and continue to reduce the Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR).
- Own and communicate effectively when raising tickets to various third-party companies regarding service level escalations and customer contractual agreements.
- Management, planning and configuration of tools to support internal delivery teams.
- Be part of a team which champions our products and ways of working
What are we looking for? 🔎
- Experience in an Application, Software or Product support role
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly understand and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience with Support Ticket Management: Proven ability to manage and prioritize support tickets efficiently within established SLAs.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clearly explaining technical information to a variety of stakeholders
- Passion for Solving Complex Problems: A genuine enthusiasm for tackling and resolving intricate technical challenges.
- Ability to Learn Quickly: The capacity to rapidly acquire new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to analyzing issues and ensuring accurate and thorough resolutions.

Technical proficiency
- Basic skills in investigating and applying data updates using SQL Server and T-SQL
- Basic skills in investigating and enhancing applications written in C# and ASP.NET
- Sound experience of Powershell scripting
- Good understanding of programming concepts and competent with change control practices.
