Role Overview 🚀
We have an exciting opportunity to join our SME Benefits Consultancy team. You will own a portfolio of SME customers, helping those customers to get the most out of our wide range of products and services which includes Group Risk, Group Healthcare, and Pension. This role is central to the continued growth and success of the department.
You will be responsible for working with SME customers post-sales to advise on the best solution for them, oversee implementation, look for opportunities to add value through our other products and services (upsell), and proactively manage renewal processes.
Responsibilities🤘
- Provide Group Risk, Healthcare and Pension consultancy services to small to medium sized portfolios where you will build detailed relationships with each of customer.
- Managing, retaining, and growing customers across Group Risk, Group Healthcare and Pensions schemes.
- Contributing to profitable revenue growth.
- Efficiently securing pre renewal calls, completing renewals/underwriting, advising on relevant product knowledge and benchmarking benefits as appropriate in market reviews.
- Be the point of contact for all employer/employee queries to include the completion of any claims if necessary.
- Keep up to date with industry knowledge and suggest improvements to our processes.
What are we looking for? 🔎
- Proven experience working in a customer facing / account management role
- Experience in at least one of the following Broking areas: Group Risk, Group Healthcare, and Pension
- A proven track record of identifying and managing upsell opportunities
- Evidence of recognising and ensuring delivery of customer service excellence
- Excellent customer relationship building and stakeholder management skills with ability to build a network of contacts, both internally and externally
- Ability to work cross functionally across diverse teams, facilitating collaborative working to ensure delivery for customers.
- Effective communication skills
Bonus points for:
- GR1/ IF7 qualified or the desire to work towards achieving these.
- Knowledge of pensions, flexible and marketplace benefits
