Role Overview π
We are looking for a fantastic Head of ABM to join our team and lead our account-based marketing initiatives. Up to this point, ABM has been secondary to our core marketing focus and we're looking to bring it front and centre of our strategy.
As the Head of ABM, you will be the first hire in this role and will be responsible for building out the ABM function from the ground up. You will develop and execute ABM strategies that drive revenue growth, working closely with external ABM agencies and internal marketing colleagues. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our ABM efforts and make a significant impact on our company's growth.
Responsibilities π€
- ABM Strategy: Strategic planning, account tiering, segmentation, messaging, and content strategy.
- Program Management: Initiate and manage ABM programs, leveraging external ABM agencies and internal marketing resources to deliver personalized and impactful campaigns.
- Team Building: Lead a team of two events managers. Recruit, mentor, and lead an ABM manager and work closely with marketing colleagues across digital, campaigns and events to execute your strategy.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Foster strong collaboration and alignment with the sales team to ensure ABM strategies are effectively integrated into the sales process and sales colleagues are champions of ABM.
- Analytics and Reporting: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of ABM campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Budget Management: Manage the ABM budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve the best ROI.
What are we looking for? π
- Proven experience in a senior ABM or a related marketing or sales role, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through ABM strategies.
- Ability to think strategically and develop β and more importantly execute β creative ABM programs that deliver results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Evidence of leading a function from the front to improve conversion rates.
- A history of building out an ABM function from scratch would be fantastic.
- Knowledge of the HR technology industry is a plus.
